A leading global e-commerce firm is seeking an individual to lead LATAM Regulatory Intelligence, Safety, and Compliance programs. The candidate will ensure compliance with product safety guidelines, develop regional strategies, and support ongoing operations for the international team. Formación

  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent is required.
  • More than 3 years of program or project management experience.

This individual helps lead LATAM Regulatory Intelligence, Safety, & Compliance (RISC) programs within the Trustworthy Shopping Experience (TSE) International organization. The organization protects customers in LATAM stores (Mexico & Brazil) by preventing illegal, unsafe, and non‑compliant products from being listed.

Overview

The successful candidate shows excellent judgment and instincts in decision‑making, proactively improves their knowledge of Amazon’s business, platform, and relevant technologies.

Responsibilities

Support the global RISC program at Amazon and ensure compliance with all relevant product and food safety, and restricted product compliance guidelines for the store. Develop regional strategy, build new solutions and processes, and support the ongoing operations for the International RISC team.

Qualifications
  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent
  • 3+ years of program or project management experience
  • Experience leveraging technology to drive process improvements
  • Experience using data to influence business decisions
  • Experience with data analysis and SQL
  • Speak, write, and read fluently in English, and have the ability to take direction in English
  • Experience establishing successful partnerships with internal and external teams to execute tactical initiatives or equivalent
  • Experience in compliance, audit or risk management
