What to Expect

Swift is expanding its Latam Business Development team. An integral part of this effort is to hire a junior Account Manager who has the passion and desire to graduate to a Senior Manager in the Latin America Region. In this role, the individual will collaborate with and support the Key Account Management team to help grow some of our largest and most strategic relationships and to maximize revenue opportunities.

This position reports to the Executive Director/Strategic Relationship Manager of Key Accounts, Latin America and is based in Mexico. The individual will be focused on building client relationships, executing a vision around strategic initiatives and driving sales success throughout the portfolio.

In this role you will
  • Assist Key Account Managers and Strategic Account Managers with account needs and initiatives in order to achieve targeted sales objectives, including but not limited to account planning, presentations, commercial projects, RFPs, post‑call follow up items, pricing quotes and proposals, scheduling, industry or competitive research, reports/statistics, lead generation/follow up and Salesforce.com e‑form follow up.
  • Validate, input and process customer requests / sales contracts, timely and accurately using applications such as Salesforce.com and other internal applications and systems.
  • Provide highest quality service and support to resolve customer needs/inquiries regarding products and services, e‑orders, invoicing, billing and collections in a timely, efficient and professional manner in accordance with the service level agreement, key performance indicators and escalation procedures. Liaise with customers, team members and other departments in order to resolve customers’ problems, needs and queries in compliance with all internal and external procedures.
What will make you successful
  • Acquire operational, process and product knowledge to assist with customer initiatives, needs or issues such as establishing new BICs, executing retention campaigns, working with Salesforce.com.
  • Partner with Key Account Managers and Strategic Account Managers to demonstrate Swift thought leadership through initiatives such as the creation of outbound email campaigns, newsletters and other best practices.
  • Coordinate in‑person or virtual events such as conferences, round tables, panel discussions and client dinners. Assist in representing Swift in promoting products and services by participating in regional fairs, conferences, forums and meetings.
  • Collaborate with Corporate Communications to deliver social media posts to be used by the regional Business Development team and others to amplify Swift’s message to the community and industry.
  • Liaise with other Key Account Team, Key Account Team Manager and colleagues in order to provide a coordinated service and integrated solution to assigned customers.
  • Acquire and maintain skills and knowledge.

The estimated salary range for a new hire into this position in Mexico is 720,800.00 MINIMUM to1,338,628.00 MXN MAXIMUM. Salary may vary depending on job‑related factors which may include knowledge, skills, experience, and location. Our compensation packages include a competitive base salary and bonus opportunity for all employee’s contingent on personal and company performance.
