The role involves developing familiarity with safety standards, conducting fluid tests, and documenting research. Applicants should have a degree in a STEM field and over 3 years of lab experience. Formación

• 3+ years of verifiable experience in Stimulation, Cementing or Pumping Laboratory.
• Knowledge of HSE standards and compliance with safety regulations.

Responsabilidades

• Conduct routine research and experimentation as directed by Scientific Leader and Team Leaders.
• Document progress in laboratory notebooks and reports.
• Communicate with technical client personnel.

Job Duties

Under general supervision, develops operational familiarity with the chemical hygiene plan and the current HSE laboratory safety standards. Follows prescribed safety rules and regulations in performing assigned duties. Applies theories, principles and practices to the research and development of new and improved products, processes and procedures. Performs routine research and experimentation at the direction of Scientific Leader, Scientific Advisor and Team Leaders. Document progress in laboratory notebooks, reports, procedures and designs. Communicates occasionally with technical client personnel. Responds as directed by Scientific Leader, Scientific Advisor and Team Leaders to customers needs. Participates in professional societies. Job tasks, correctly performed, impact indirectly on cost containment, efficiency, profitability or operations. Consequences of error are easily measured and can be confined.

Qualifications

Requeriments:

• Degree in STEM careers – Petroleum, Chemical, Eng., or similar.
• +3 years of verifiable experience in Stimulation, Cementing or Pumping Laboratory.
• Proficiency in running fluid tests in laboratory and field.
• Advanced English proficient.
• Intermediate Excel skills.
• Promotes the company’s HSE standards, complying with all procedures, environmental regulations, and local safety requirements.
