At FIFA26, our vision is to unite the world through the greatest sporting event of all time. The FIFA World Cup 26™ will mark the first time that the tournament will feature 48 teams and be hosted by three countries: Canada, Mexico and the USA. This new format will redefine excellence, generating unique opportunities for greater participation and engagement among fans and players across North America and all over the world. Reporting organizationally to the Head of Recruiting, the Recruitment Manager will play a critical and high-impact role in driving large-scale workforce hiring and operational readiness for the FIFA World Cup 2026™. This is an extremely high-volume and high‑intensity position — not a traditional recruitment role — requiring exceptional organization, resilience, and the ability to manage multiple complex projects simultaneously.
The Recruitment Manager will not only facilitate full‑cycle recruitment but also lead and execute various workforce‑related initiatives that involve filling hundreds of positions across multiple workforce types, each with unique processes, systems, and compliance requirements. This role demands strong project management capabilities, meticulous attention to detail, and the ability to maintain accuracy and efficiency while operating under significant pressure and evolving deadlines.
We are seeking self‑starters and proactive leaders who can navigate challenges, adapt quickly, and push critical objectives to completion on time. The ideal candidate will thrive in ambiguity, possess strong leadership and problem‑solving skills, and demonstrate the ability to build, refine, and scale processes to meet the operational needs of a global event.
This is a dynamic, hands‑on role that requires balancing high‑volume recruitment with strategic workforce execution — managing competing priorities, coordinating across functions, and ensuring delivery excellence for one of the largest sporting events in history.
This will be a 6‑month temporary contract role.

Inclusivity: Achieve shared organizational objectives by sharing information with colleagues across all levels and divisions, tangibly influencing others, and maintaining a network of support contacts.
Initiative: Capacity to do things on one’s own initiative and to influence the course of events, assume responsibilities, and achieve objectives with a minimum of supervision and control.
Innovation: Capacity to break new ground, look for unconventional solutions, and produce fresh ideas.
Leadership: Ability to lead one’s contacts/colleagues/partners, encourage teamwork, and delegate authority / decision‑making power, as needed, to produce the expected results and make efficient use of the team’s skills and talents.
Vision: Ability to perceive the organization's global environmental impact, anticipate decision consequences, grasp organizational missions, and formulate strategic plans.
