The PPM is a member of the Project Core Team and acts as the interface between the project and the entire procurement network. The role ensures the definition and successful execution of sourcing strategies and manages procurement activities throughout the project lifecycle, without directly performing purchases.

Key Responsibilities

• Define and Implement Procurement Strategy
  Establish and execute the Project Procurement Strategy in full respect of Quality, Cost, Delivery, Technical, Environmental, Ethics, and Safety (QCDTE) commitments.
• Coordinate and Consolidate Procurement Activities
  Secure all procurement actions during the project life cycle, ensuring efficiency and alignment with project requirements.
• Contract Management
  Drive signature and proper execution of supplier contracts.
  Manage claims and ensure compliance with contractual obligations.
• Risk and Cost Management
  Monitor material costs versus budget, manage risks and opportunities, and ensure procurement contributes to project profitability and cash flow efficiency.
• Compliance and Governance
  Ensure adherence to procurement rules and specific project requirements (e.g., localization rates, Best Cost Country sourcing).
