A medical solutions company is seeking a Project Manager to oversee installations in Mexico. The ideal candidate will have an engineering degree, 2+ years in the medical equipment industry, and strong project management skills. Bilingual proficiency in English and Spanish is required for effective communication. This role involves leading project teams and coordinating site preparations to meet customer expectations.

Formación

Position Summary
  • Key Roles & Responsibility: Regional level field-based escalation support.
  • Manages installs of rooms including, creation of room layout and coordination of site prep activities (room construction).
  • The Project Manager is responsible for implementing medical solutions for the public and private markets in ‘country’. This job requires leadership skills to satisfactorily manage the team and the project, so that customer expectations are met or exceeded, within the constraints of project cost and timeliness.
  • Set clear delivery expectations (planning, services, training, network support, image quality) in liaison with Carestream Account Manager / Product Specialist and Dealer's product specialist during closing deal stage.
  • Manage implementation projects to meet or exceed customer expectations and Carestream expected margin.
  • Lead a project team including relevant support functions (Customer support, Service and Sales) to ensure the total Carestream solution is delivered on time, in full and with no errors.
  • Plan, coordinate and follow up activities to be performed by the customer and by Carestream for implementation, using accepted project management tools.
  • Provide timely communication to the customer about project advancement, ensuring customers have enough information to deal with Carestream efficiently.
  • Obtain final customer acceptance to close the project.
  • Works with Sales & Service Managers and General Manager on projects to update status.
  • Coordinate third party vendor activity that is included in the solution provided by Carestream.
  • Gain and update knowledge of customer’s environment, local regulatory constraints, local Medical and IT policies.
Required Skills & Education
  • Engineering Bachelor’s degree (Título y Cédula vigentes).
  • Minimum of 2 years of related experience in the medical equipment industry.
  • Minimum of 2 years of experienced project management.
  • Good knowledge of medical equipment site architecture and technical requirements.
  • Analytical skills & structured approach.
  • Excellent project management skills, including ability to multitask and prioritize using accepted project methodologies and tools.
  • Experience in high tech digital products.
  • Excellent Interpersonal & Communication skills.
  • Excellent level of communication English and Spanish.
Desired Skills
  • Xray room technical background is desirable.
  • Auto CAD or equivalent SW is desirable.
  • PMP certification highly desired.
