Formación

• 5+ years in automotive/industrial project development.
• Proven NPI/APQP experience with full-cycle harness projects.
• Experience in setting up production lines is preferred.

Key Responsibilities

• Project Management: Oversee cable assembly projects (NPI) from RFQ to mass production; ensure timely delivery according to IATF 16949/APQP; coordinate with cross-functional teams (Engineering, Quality, Production, Purchasing).
• Technical Execution: Lead cable design, prototyping, validation (ESD, EMC, vibration), and BOM finalization.
• Localization Support: Collaborate with other sites to transfer processes, specifications, and provide training to the Mexican team.
• Quality Management: Ensure zero critical defects in mass production and implement lessons learned.
• Identify and mitigate risks in the implementation of products.
• Implement continuous improvement tools such as Lean and Six Sigma.
• Monitor key performance indicators (KPIs).

Qualifications & Requirements

• 5+ years in automotive/industrial project development (design, manufacturing, validation).
• Proven NPI/APQP experience – led =3 full-cycle harness projects (design to SOP).
• Fluent in Spanish and English (written/spoken).
• Familiar with Six Sigma, 8D, or FMEA problem-solving methods.
• Preferred: Experience setting up production lines in Mexico; knowledge of local labor laws and Tier 1/2 supply chains.
• Availability to travel occasionally (Valid passport / VISA).
• Excellent communication and teamwork skills.
• Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously.
