Responsibilities

• Responsible for ensuring that the software and databases under their responsibility do not compromise the integrity of plant information and user data.Accountable for the proper, ethical, honest, and responsible handling of any sensitive information contained in the data they structure, manage, or provide, ensuring it does not pose any risk or result in a vulnerability within the management, organizational, or financial systems of the various sites served by the organization.
• Responsible for implementing code and building software based on technical specifications provided by requesting departments.Perform unit testing and code debugging.Document software instructions and code.
• Responsible for certain data engineering functions, such as designing scalable and efficient architectures for data processing and automating data flows in real-time or batch processes.
• Defines and requests from their supervisor the necessary resources for assigned projects.Provide daily support for potential failures in programs, software, or business intelligence tools.
• Perform software validation as required.Prepare plans and budgets for the development of assigned projects.
• Document and provide training on procedures, guides, work instructions, etc., developed or assigned as part of data infrastructure, software development, or any activities related to Industry 4.0 initiatives.
• Design and develop dashboards based on database information.
• Create and maintain data dashboards.
• May work on backend or frontend but specializes in one of these areas.

Qualifications

• Education in software development, electronics, mechatronics systems engineering, informatics, data engineering, data analysis, or other equivalent fields — Engineering profile.
• Big Data, Machine Learning, AI, Data Science, Cloud Services. LabVIEW, Power BI, Tableau, Visual Studio, SQL Server, Java, Visual Studio Code, Visual Studio Community, Android Studio, C#, Python, PLC, Hadoop, electronic creation platforms such as Raspberry Pi or Arduino, NoSQL, Dash database, cloud services, MVC .NET Core, Django. Knowledge of agile methodologies.
• Artificial Intelligence, Internet of Things (IoT), databases, augmented reality, machine learning, among others, or any other Industry 4.0 tool.
• Basic knowledge of fuzzy logic (not mandatory), knowledge of deep learning frameworks.
• Regulated company standard knowledge.
• Lean and Six Sigma tools knowledge.
• Knowledge of statistics, linear algebra.
• Risk Management knowledge.
• Spoken and written English
• Basic knowledge of project justifications and financial analysis or ROI
• Must have logical thinking, be capable of working in multidisciplinary teams and with different cultures, be honest, responsible, respectful, resilient, ethical, creative, flexible, dynamic, practical, disciplined, tenacious, empathetic, tolerant, and patient, with logical thinking and critical thinking skills.
