What we need :
We are looking for an enthusiastic person to manage our award-winning global experience work experience programmes in Mexico City.
General responsibilities and role assumptions :
- Embody Pagoda Values - Ensure a fantastic participant experience; with a focus on cultural exchange, career competency gains and development and personal development.
- Visas and Compliance - Help to ensure all documentation and due diligence checks are complete for participants and take an active lead on visa administration in compliance with local rules and regulations.
- Participant Management & Support - Take overall charge of the delivery of programmes "on the ground" overseeing the success of each participant's progress on a Pagoda Programme.
This will involve dealing with ad-hoc issues, providing support, whilst ensuring that an inclusive, safe, and enjoyable programme is experienced by all.
- Accommodation Management - Source, book and manage accommodation for all participants - ensure quality is maintained, any issues resolved and requests are handled timely and clearly communicated internally and externally if brought to your attention.
- Airport Pickups and Company Drop Offs - Manage timelines and transportation, communicate processes and ensure that these programme elements are organised in line with health and safety protocols and company expectations.
- Business Development - Develop and grow your personal network, represent Pagoda in your city, and look to bring on new host companies and partners.
- Be Global-Local - Bring your unique experiences, culture, and knowledge to the role - this will allow us to set up for success in your location we also will be encouraging you to engage in a global growth mindset to abide by company SOPs and company values.
- Take the lead on the organisation of activities, dinners, social activities, and trips.
- Attention to detail - Ensure all onboarding documentation is complete, that participants' time on the programme is enjoyable and that departure from the city / country is clearly organised and communicated.
- Follow up regularly to provide updates on issues, and proactively try to solve these whenever possible.
- Clearly document all issues which require your significant attention to ensure to elevate for feedback any issues to the Delivery Team Leader and other senior managers as required.
- Be prepared to respond to emergencies, as well as any participant check-in data which is raised by our central team as cause for concern.
- Fully support other team members ensuring you work as a team to deliver excellent programmes at a scale that exceeds the expectations of our partners.
- Mentor the wider team on your local culture, things to do, hidden gems, and cultural considerations.
We want to learn from you!
- Provide regular input and suggestions to team meetings and monthly team huddles - these are arranged centrally and your attendance will be encouraged.
- Put participants' wellbeing first - Ensure any issues are effectively flagged to first the Delivery Team Leader and escalated to the leadership team as required.
- Manage expectations in terms of your communication, especially when working across time zones.
- Share - Assist with the creation of marketing content and video content from your city.
Requirements :
- Speak Spanish & English
- Live & know CDMX very well as a city
