An international automotive supplier is seeking a Product Engineer based in Torreon. The role involves reviewing and designing harness plans, validating products, and ensuring compliance with engineering procedures. Candidates must have a Bachelor's degree and 1 year of experience in the automotive wire harness industry, alongside skills in AutoCad and advanced English proficiency.

• 1 Year of experience in Engineering in similar positions within the wire harness automotive industry.

Responsabilidades

• Review and design of harness plans.
• Validation of product against drawing and customer specifications.
• Review, comparison, and upload of bills of materials in the REN2/QAD database.
• Preparation and review of cutting sheets in the UCS system.
• Creation and/or review of cost studies in SEM for engineering changes.
• Preparation of Design Change Notices and BOM Change Notices.
• 100% compliance with Product Engineering procedures.
• Generation and analysis of cost reduction ideas.

Job Title: Product Engineer
Lear Corporation- México – Torreon Plant 2 (Presential)

We are in position to offer a great job opportunity to work as Product Engineer, based in Torreon, Coahuila (E-Systems Division).
As Product Engineer will have an excellent opportunity to work in an International and growing environment reporting directly to Product Engineering Manager.

Your tasks will be:
• Review and design of harness plans.
• Validation of the product against drawing and customer specifications, for engineering changes, new starts and transfers.
• Review, comparison, and upload of bills of materials (BOM) in the REN2/QAD database for the construction of harnesses.
• Preparation, review, comparison and loading of cutting sheets in the UCS system and generation of visual aids for special processes.
• Preparation, review, comparison and loading standard times for the manufacture of harnesses.
• Creation and/or review of cost studies in SEM (Smart Execution Management), PCNs in EDS (Electrical Distribution System) for each of the engineering changes proposed by the client.
• Preparation of DCN (Design Change Notice) & BCN (BOM Change Notice) to notify in detail the team involved of the engineering changes that are implemented in the Plant.
• 100% compliance with the Product Engineering procedures (Engineering Changes, Cutting Sheet, BOM, Teardown, Product Validation) and the availability of the documentation related to each one.
• Generation and analysis of cost reduction ideas for the company.

To Be Successful In This Role You Must Have:
• Education: Bachelor’s degree on industrial engineering or any related field.
• 1 Year of experience on Engineering in similar positions within the wire harness automotive industry.
• AutoCad knowledge.
• Problem solving skills.
• Leadership.
• English Advanced Level.
