A global manufacturing company in Santiago de Querétaro seeks an experienced Engineer to establish production standards, assist with training, and tackle process issues. Candidates should have at least 3 years of experience in manufacturing, preferably in chemical industries or rubber molding, and a background in Lean methodology. This role emphasizes continuous improvement and requires strong technical knowledge in process engineering and automation.

Formación

• 3+ years of experience in chemical industries or rubber molding.
• Knowledge of process engineering and Lean manufacturing principles.
• Familiarity with IATF 16949 and ISO standards.

• Assist in solving process issues affecting safety, quality, and delivery.

Responsibilities

• Established the production standard methods for current process according to the process flow diagram and control plan, integrating the 4M's (Material, Machine, Method and Main).
• Supports the training processes to achieve the training schedule according to the established standard.
• Develop and maintain updated documents to establish the production standard (SOP, procedures, forms, etc.).
• Assist the production department to solve process issues that affect the main KPI in the areas of Safety, Quality, Delivery and Cost (SQDC) by evaluating the 4M's + 2M's.
• Assist the quality department in solving issues and develop improvement activities coming from internal and external sources.
• Assist the maintenance department in solving issues, search and implement improvement activities on machines and/or production equipment.
• Confirm that the BOM is met and submit periodic recommendations and/or changes as needed to keep updated the material consumption.
• Establish and/or participate in continuous improvement projects (Kaizen, Lean system, VPS, 6σ, etc.).

Qualifications

Technician or graduate in Mechanical, Industrial or similar Engineering.

3 or more years of experience in manufacturing processes, preferably in chemical industries or rubber molding, assembly processes, automation of stations, programing of PLC, robots or cobots.

Process engineering process map, Lean methodology (VPS Tools basic), manufacturing process principles (assembly or mixing or bonding or plastic or MCU or curing). Manufacturing process (process design, specification book and process release). IATF 16949, core tools, AMEF and interpretation of drawing GD&T and basic knowledge in ISO 14001, 50001 and 45001.
