Responsibilities:
- Establish the production standard methods for current processes according to the process flow diagram and control plan, integrating the 4M's (Material, Machine, Method, and Main).
- Support the training processes to achieve the training schedule according to the established standards.
- Develop and maintain updated documents to establish the production standards (SOPs, procedures, forms, etc.).
- Assist the production department in solving process issues affecting the main KPIs in Safety, Quality, Delivery, and Cost (SQDC) by evaluating the 4M's + 2M's.
- Assist the quality department in resolving issues and developing improvement activities from internal and external sources.
- Audit current processes to improve method efficiency.
- Responsible for the initial issuance of the PFMEA.
- Coordinate updating the PFMEA according to revision and update schedules to enhance process performance.
- Ensure process capability meets established methods and develop actions to improve or correct when necessary.
- Participate in HSE activities and programs.
- Participate in production meetings as needed, providing current status updates and proposing actions based on results.
- Execute and coordinate tests related to engineering changes in the production process.
- Participate in defining optimal production methods for new processes or products, integrating 4M's and meeting SQDC.
- Coordinate the implementation of new production projects and processes.
- Follow up on activities assigned to engineering to meet project deadlines according to the implementation schedule.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor of Science in Mechanical / Industrial Engineering or similar.
- 3 or more years of experience in manufacturing processes, preferably in rubber molding, assembly processes, and automation, including programming of PLCs, robots, and cobots.
- Experience in manufacturing process definition for costing (Process Engineering Process Map).
- Knowledge of lean methodology in production processes.
- Understanding of manufacturing process principles (assembly, mixing, bonding, plastics, MCU, vulcanization).
- Experience with process steps such as process design, specification documentation, and process release.
- Knowledge in designing tools and equipment, tool manufacturing, and maintenance, including IATF standards, Core Tools, PFMEA, and GD&T interpretation.
