The role involves developing documentation, assisting in training, and organizing audits to improve efficiency. The ideal candidate holds a degree in Mechanical or Industrial Engineering and has extensive experience in manufacturing.

Formación

• 3+ years in manufacturing processes, especially rubber molding and automation.
• Experience with costing process definition and lean methodology.
• Knowledge of assembly, mixing, bonding, and manufacturing principles.

Responsibilities:

1. Establish the production standard methods for current processes according to the process flow diagram and control plan, integrating the 4M's (Material, Machine, Method, and Main).
2. Support the training processes to achieve the training schedule according to the established standards.
3. Develop and maintain updated documents to establish the production standards (SOPs, procedures, forms, etc.).
4. Assist the production department in solving process issues affecting the main KPIs in Safety, Quality, Delivery, and Cost (SQDC) by evaluating the 4M's + 2M's.
5. Assist the quality department in resolving issues and developing improvement activities from internal and external sources.
6. Audit current processes to improve method efficiency.
7. Responsible for the initial issuance of the PFMEA.
8. Coordinate updating the PFMEA according to revision and update schedules to enhance process performance.
9. Ensure process capability meets established methods and develop actions to improve or correct when necessary.
10. Participate in HSE activities and programs.
11. Participate in production meetings as needed, providing current status updates and proposing actions based on results.
12. Execute and coordinate tests related to engineering changes in the production process.
13. Participate in defining optimal production methods for new processes or products, integrating 4M's and meeting SQDC.
14. Coordinate the implementation of new production projects and processes.
15. Follow up on activities assigned to engineering to meet project deadlines according to the implementation schedule.

Qualifications:

1. Bachelor of Science in Mechanical / Industrial Engineering or similar.
2. 3 or more years of experience in manufacturing processes, preferably in rubber molding, assembly processes, and automation, including programming of PLCs, robots, and cobots.
3. Experience in manufacturing process definition for costing (Process Engineering Process Map).
4. Knowledge of lean methodology in production processes.
5. Understanding of manufacturing process principles (assembly, mixing, bonding, plastics, MCU, vulcanization).
6. Experience with process steps such as process design, specification documentation, and process release.
7. Knowledge in designing tools and equipment, tool manufacturing, and maintenance, including IATF standards, Core Tools, PFMEA, and GD&T interpretation.
