Formación

• 10-15 años de experiencia en metal-mecánica o fabricación de chapa.

Descripción

• Lead all plant operations including fabrication, welding, assembly, maintenance, and logistics.
• Convert demand and S&OP into executable production plans; manage capacity and resources across two facilities.
• Ensure KPIs and daily management systems are met and continuously improved.
• Drive zero-incident safety and maintain regulatory compliance.
• Guarantee quality at source and implement effective corrective actions.
• Plan and execute process and product transfers from the U.S.; validate tooling and ensure launch readiness.
• Scale up operations aggressively as headcount grows, building systems and capabilities for expansion.
• Hire, mentor, and develop supervisors and teams; set clear goals and accountability.
• Implement Lean initiatives to reduce waste and cost; optimize layout and material flow.
• Manage budgets, CapEx, and cost-reduction plans tied to quarterly targets.

Perfil buscado

• 10-15 years of experience in metal-mechanics or sheet-metal manufacturing (fabrication, forming, welding, machining, finishing).
• Minimum 5 years leading sheet-metal operations or fast-growth manufacturing environments with 200+ employees.
• Proven success in scaling greenfield or major transfer projects.
• Strong knowledge of sheet-metal processes: cutting/laser, bending, forming, welding, assembly, powder coating, tooling.
• Expertise in production planning, capacity modeling, standard work, and cost optimization.
• Familiarity with ERP/MES systems and KPI management (OTD, OEE, scrap, throughput, conversion cost).
