Toro Company's Plant 2 is located in Ciudad Juarez, Chihuahua, Mexico is a division of The Toro Company since 2002, we pride ourselves on providing garden and landscape maintenance. Job Purpose

Job Purpose: Responsible for providing general and independent guidance to other members of the production planning team, confirming parts availability for near-term production.

What are the most common activities?

Job Duties & Responsibilities

  • Maintain reliable inventory systems to ensure stock levels remain within established targets.
  • Utilize LCG Weekly Reports to obtain accurate information and improve exception messages, on-time delivery, and past-due metrics.
  • Identify and secure materials required to meet production plans.
  • Maintain ongoing communication with suppliers and other plants to ensure timely shipment commitments and raw material availability.
  • Coordinate with external carriers and the internal transportation team to ensure accurate, on-time shipments. Monitor in-transit loads and provide timely updates to the team.
  • Set priorities and track shipments in collaboration with the customs and local traffic teams.
  • Schedule and monitor pickups from local suppliers to ensure efficient delivery of local components.
  • Manage procurement of materials and work with the warehouse team to confirm raw material receipts and product shipments.
  • Provide feedback to internal and external suppliers regarding excess inventory.
  • Adhere to all plant safety policies and precautionary measures in the work area.
  • Comply with company security policies and procedures.
  • Ensure compliance with the Environmental Management System.
  • Follow Toro Company’s file management policies, including information organization, record retention schedules, training, document retention notices, records destruction, and management of important records with third-party providers when applicable.
