Client Domain: Product-based company specializing in SaaS-based Human Resource Management System (HRMS) applications for public sector organizations.

Job Overview

We are seeking a highly skilled Performance Test Engineer with strong expertise in Apache JMeter to join our team on a contract basis. The ideal candidate will have extensive experience in performance testing methodologies—covering scripting, execution, monitoring and analysis. You will collaborate with cross‑functional teams to ensure that our applications deliver scalability, stability and responsiveness under varying loads.

Key Responsibilities

• Design and implement effective performance testing strategies using Apache JMeter.
• Develop, maintain and execute performance test scripts for web and API‑based applications.
• Conduct load, stress, scalability and endurance testing to validate system behavior.
• Analyze results to identify bottlenecks, constraints and opportunities for optimization.
• Collaborate with development, QA and DevOps teams to resolve performance issues.
• Monitor system and application performance using tools such as Grafana, Dynatrace, New Relic or InfluxDB.
• Prepare detailed performance test reports and present findings to stakeholders.
• Continuously improve performance testing frameworks, processes and best practices.

Required Skills & Qualifications

• 7 years of experience in performance testing.
• Strong hands‑on expertise with Apache JMeter (scripting & execution).
• Solid understanding of performance testing types (load, stress, endurance, scalability).
• Proficiency in analyzing performance metrics and identifying root causes.
• Experience with performance monitoring tools (Grafana, New Relic, Dynatrace, InfluxDB).
• Proven track record in testing web applications, APIs and backend services.
• Strong documentation and communication skills.

Nice to Have

• Familiarity with CI/CD tools (Jenkins, GitLab CI).
• Exposure to cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, GCP).
• Programming or scripting knowledge in Shell, Python or Groovy.
