A multinational consumer goods company is seeking a People Operations Specialist (Temporary) in Mexico City. In this role, you will drive HR excellence across LATAM, managing employee terminations and ensuring compliance and accuracy in People Systems. You must have at least 1 year of HR operations experience, proficiency in Microsoft Office, and an intermediate level of English. This is a full-time, hybrid position for a duration of 6 months.

Formación

  • Able to communicate effectively in English at an intermediate level.

Join us as People Operations Specialist (Temporary)

Function: HR

Scope: Latam

Location: Mexico City, Bosques

Terms & Conditions: . Temporary position for 6 months. Full time- Hybrid. No national or international relocation bonus applies.

JOB PURPOSE

In this role you will drive HR excellence through operations with a problem‑solving mentality and operationally focused mindset. This role will operationally develop the exit activities for the whole region of LATAM, that will enable the end‑to‑end exit process to be successfully completed in system (Workday) and documents are sent correctly, on time and legally accurate.

WHAT WILL YOUR MAIN RESPONSIBILITIES BE
  • Manage employee terminations across LATAM, including document generation, incident collection, payroll payment confirmations, and all related processes.
  • Ensure data accuracy, compliance, and completion within People Systems (Workday).
  • Oversee timely terminations to prevent payroll and security issues.
  • Ensure incidents and payments are processed accurately and on time.
  • Manage timely data migration to payroll systems to avoid employee impacts.
  • Ensure adherence to local and regional processes and policies, promoting consistency across teams.
  • Foster a continuous improvement mindset by leveraging technology to drive simplification, process refinement, and operational excellence.
  • Verify that all exit documents are accurate, legally compliant, and sent within required timelines.
REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS
  • At least 1 year of experience in HR, preferably in HR operations
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office tools
  • Intermediate English level.
