Lead and oversee end-to-end US payroll operations, ensuring accuracy, compliance, and timely processing across multiple states.
Manage, mentor, and develop the payroll team within the Shared Services Center, driving alignment, performance, and continuous improvement.
Ensure full compliance with federal and state regulations, internal policies, SOX controls, and audit requirements.
Partner with Finance, Total Rewards, Legal, HR Operations, and IT to support integrations, data integrity, and cross-functional initiatives.
Drive process standardization, automation, and operational excellence to improve efficiency and payroll accuracy.
Oversee payroll reporting, reconciliations, and payroll accounting activities, ensuring proper controls and documentation.
Provide executive-level visibility and guidance, managing escalations and influencing decisions through strong technical and analytical expertise.
Extensive experience managing complex, multi-state US payroll within a Global Business Services (GBS) or large shared services environment.
Strong technical expertise in payroll regulations, controls, audits, and payroll accounting within high-volume operations.
Advanced Excel skills with strong analytical capability for large datasets and process optimization.
Proven leadership experience in GBS, including team realignment, capability building, and performance management.
High executive presence and stakeholder management, able to influence senior leaders and defend technical decisions confidently.
Resilient, assertive, and structured leader comfortable in fast-paced, highly matrixed GBS environments.
Experience with enterprise payroll systems (ADP GlobalView, Workday, SAP, Ceridian, WFN) and strong orientation toward standardization and continuous improvement.
