Overview

This role is responsible for executing complex payroll calculations and processes, collaborating on country-level projects, and identifying process improvement opportunities. The role cultivates relationships with stakeholders and vendors, resolves intricate payroll cases, and gains deep understanding of payroll processes. The role proactively contributes to research, data analysis, and knowledge sharing, ensuring adherence to policies and procedures.

Responsibilities
  • Executes moderately complex payroll calculations and processes with expertise in payroll regulations and systems, for a complex country or a set of countries.
  • Contributes to country-level projects impacting payroll and time solutions, collaborating with key stakeholders, and occasionally leading low to moderate complexity projects.
  • Collaborates with payroll leaders to identify process improvement and policy development opportunities both within and beyond payroll, actively participating in design and implementation.
  • Cultivates strong relationships with internal stakeholders and external vendors, driving issue resolution for desired outcomes.
  • Resolves intricate payroll and time and absence support cases and effectively handles escalations, while also addressing daily employee and business partner queries.
  • Gains an in-depth understanding of the organization\'s payroll and time processes and develops a working knowledge of the business.
  • Develops recommendations, and written reports, contributing proactively through research and data analysis support, and sharing knowledge to foster a knowledge management culture.
  • Works independently on moderate scope problems, applying professional expertise, exercising judgment, and resolving various issues by following company policies and procedures.
Education & Experience
  • Four-year or Graduate Degree in Business Administration, Economics, Finance, or any other related discipline or commensurate work experience or demonstrated competence.
  • Typically has 2-4 years of work experience, preferably in payroll/HR administration, payroll processing, or a related field or an advanced degree with little or no work experience.
