A leading university is seeking a part-time Research Assistant in the Department of Obstetrics and Gynaecology to work on clinical samples and participate in research projects. Ideal candidates will have a Bachelor’s degree in a related field and experience with cell culture and molecular biology. Strong communication skills and teamwork are essential for this role. Overview

Part-time Research Assistant I in the Department of Obstetrics and Gynaecology, School of Clinical Medicine (Ref.: 533229) at The University of Hong Kong. Appointment to commence as soon as possible for one year, with the possibility of renewal subject to satisfactory performance.

The appointee will work on clinical samples and basic research projects.

Qualifications
  • Bachelor’s degree in Biology, Medical Sciences or a related discipline.
  • Experience in cell culture, molecular biology and/or basic laboratory techniques.
  • Preference for candidates with experience in animal models.
  • Experience in the medical-related field and/or cancer research is advantageous.
  • Strong communication skills with a good command of spoken and written English and Chinese.
  • Reliable, honest, committed, self-motivated with a strong sense of responsibility; able to work independently and in a team.

Remuneration and Benefits
