As the Finance and Operations Specialist, you will work closely with the Operations Director to implement and administer the day‑to‑day finances and operations.
As the Finance and Operations Specialist, you will play a pivotal role in the success of our small and growing global initiative.
You will support all operational aspects of our organization's activities from financial and operational systems, processes, administration, accounts payables, procurement & contracting, and partnership grants.
You will play a key role in supporting day‑to‑day operations and ensuring the efficient, effective, economic and equitable functioning of the initiative.
You will be a key interface between our team, our partners, and our fiscal sponsor the Earth Island Institute as well as our payroll service providers.
To be successful in this role you will be a motivated and passionate team player who is comfortable with working in a global team that spans many cultures and experiences, and necessitates some unconventional working hours to accommodate timezones.
