As a Network Service Manager & Architect at FLSmidth, you will be part of the Global IT Infrastructure team focusing on supporting and developing digital initiatives and requirements from the business by building, maintaining, and improving the global infrastructure.
The Global Network team is located in Monterrey (Mexico), Chennai (India), and Bucharest (Romania), managed out of Bucharest. The scope is to manage the network across 100+ locations worldwide. In the future, 'Hands on' network management will be handled by Managed Service Providers, and you will be responsible for designing solutions to support business needs and managing these providers. You will lead projects from a network perspective and work closely with the entire IT Infrastructure Team.
Your educational background is secondary to your practical experience. You have extensive hands-on experience working with infrastructure in a global context, acquired through similar roles in other companies.
You are structured, capable of managing project plans, and working collaboratively to deliver results on time. You are a skilled communicator with fluent English, able to engage easily with global teams, the business, and suppliers. Some travel is required, but not more than 20 days per year.
