Job Description

We are seeking a highly motivated and results‑oriented Account Executive to join our team. As a key member of our sales department, you will be responsible for identifying, prospecting, and securing new business opportunities, playing a key role in driving sales growth by proactive outreach efforts.

Responsibilities
  • Collaborate with our marketing department to research and identify target accounts.
  • Generate new business leads through proactive prospecting, networking, and cold calling.
  • Build and nurture relationships with prospects, engaging key decision-makers, understanding their needs, and presenting compelling solutions.
  • Consult with key customer decision makers to identify business needs and determine if Immerse can be a strategic partner for their organization’s language learning needs.
  • Develop and execute sales strategies to convert leads into paying customers, achieving or exceeding sales targets.
  • Collaborate with the marketing team to create effective sales materials, proposals, and presentations.
  • Conduct product demonstrations and sales negotiations to effectively close deals.
  • Stay updated with industry trends, competitive landscape, and market dynamics to identify new opportunities for growth.
  • Collaborate with internal teams to ensure seamless onboarding and handover of new customers to the customer success team.
  • Bring your thinking, strategies, and ideas to advance our company’s values, unique culture, and vision for the future.
Qualifications
  • 5+ years of B2B sales experience, ideally managing new business development efforts, with exceptional consultative selling and closing skills.
  • A strong drive to achieve results and exceed quota through proactive perseverance of your goals and key drivers.
  • Experience in EdTech, language learning or corporate training industry is strongly preferred.
  • Demonstrated experience or a strong passion to become a professional in the corporate learning and development industry.
Compensation & Benefits

This role is structured as an independent contractor position. Compensation includes base pay plus a competitive commission structure. Contractors are eligible for reimbursement of reasonable, pre‑approved expenses required to perform the contracted services.
