A manufacturing company in Aguascalientes is seeking an experienced professional to manage the regional purchasing budget and optimize the supply chain. You will lead and mentor the purchasing team while ensuring compliance with company policies. The ideal candidate will have 5-7 years of experience in purchasing or supply chain management, an understanding of ERP systems, and advanced English and Chinese skills. This role offers the chance to make significant contributions to operational efficiencies.

Formación

Responsibilities
  • Develop and manage the region's purchasing budget.
  • Identify opportunities for cost reduction and process improvement.
  • Prepare and present regular reports on purchasing activities, costs.
  • Develop and implement sourcing strategies to optimize the supply chain.
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with key suppliers.
  • Monitor supplier performance and conduct regular evaluations to ensure compliance with quality, delivery, and cost standards.
  • Address and resolve any issues related to supplier performance.
  • Implement inventory control measures to reduce costs and minimize waste.
  • Coordinate with production and logistics to manage lead times and order quantities.
  • Ensure all purchasing activities comply with company policies and legal requirements.
  • Maintain accurate and up-to-date records of all purchasing transactions and supplier contracts.
  • Collaborate with the quality assurance team to ensure materials meet required specifications.
  • Lead and mentor the purchasing team, providing guidance and support to achieve departmental goals.
  • Foster a collaborative and high-performance culture within the team.
  • Conduct regular performance reviews and provide development opportunities for team members.
Qualifications
  • Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain Management, Business Administration, or a related field.
  • Minimum of 5-7 years of experience in purchasing or supply chain management, preferably in a manufacturing or plant environment.
  • Advanced English & Chinese
  • Strong negotiation and communication skills.
  • Excellent analytical and problem-solving abilities.
  • Proficiency in ERP systems and Microsoft Office Suite.
  • Ability to work under pressure and meet tight deadlines.
