About the location:

An oceanfront resort on Mexico’s pacific, set within a private reserve. Escape to a secluded nature reserve in Mexico’s Tamarindo, the pristine coastline where verdant jungle meets the Pacific Ocean. About the role

To support all marketing efforts for assigned properties in the Americas. This position requires a strong background in marketing management, marketing communications, business/campaign performance analysis and project management. The individual must be a productive self-starter capable of managing multiple priorities and leading other internal and external team members who do not have a direct reporting relationship.

What you will do
  • Responsible for supporting the Director of Marcoms in the PR strategy for the Americans, Mexican and international media.
  • Responsible for the coordination and hosting of the programed fam trips and media visits on property.
  • Is proactive and creative in identifying and developing integrated PR and Social Media programs which capitalize on unique and newsworthy stories as well as leveraging unexpected opportunities as they arise. Working closely with the onsite team to uncover these stories.
  • Support in the development of niche PR strategy specific to USP for Tamarindo- design, culinary & nature.
  • Management of PR related expenses/budget.
  • Coordination and support in the management of upcoming photo and video shoots.
  • Create a cohesive team between operations and marketing to ensure the shoots are successful.
  • Working closely in the coordination with the Photographer in Residence program to support on talent.
  • Management and coordination of the existing content on behalf of the resort.
  • Coordination of the “TMR content creation” team with the social media agency.
  • Work with the relevant departments to create compelling content to support the creation of Tamarindo as a destination to include activities and discovery center.
  • Following and implementing brand photo guidelines, best practices on content creation.
  • Coordination and support in the management of upcoming photo and video shoots.
  • Create a cohesive team between operations and marketing to ensure the shoots are successful.
