Overview

The Manager, Financial Operations – Audit & Disputes plays a critical leadership role within WWEX Group’s Financial Operations Shared Service Center (SSC) in Monterrey, MX. This leader is responsible for the day-to-day management and performance of a transactional operations team supporting critical business functions including Carrier Billing, Audit and Dispute Management. This role is pivotal in driving operational excellence, team engagement, and process innovation while ensuring accuracy, compliance, and adherence to service level agreements. This position requires hands-on leadership, a continuous improvement mindset, and the ability to thrive in a dynamic, high-growth environment.

Responsibilities
  • Audit & Dispute Manager: Lead the resolution of customer and carrier disputes, chargebacks, and audit claims.
  • Audit & Dispute Manager: Drive reduction in recurring disputes through root cause analysis and cross-functional fixes.
  • Audit & Dispute Manager: Maintain dispute logs and ensure timely resolution in accordance with policy.
  • Audit & Dispute Manager: Partner with legal, sales, and customer teams for escalated issue handling.
  • Leadership & Operations: Lead, coach, and manage a team of associates and/or supervisors supporting daily transactional activities.
  • Leadership & Operations: Oversee day-to-day operations for assigned function, ensuring work is completed accurately, timely, and in compliance with internal controls and regulatory standards.
  • Leadership & Operations: Monitor and manage SLAs, KPIs, and quality metrics; proactively address performance gaps.
  • Leadership & Operations: Provide direction and mentoring to team members, ensuring alignment with department goals and company values.
  • Process & Performance Improvement: Partner with the Director and peers to standardize processes, streamline workflows, and identify automation opportunities.
  • Process & Performance Improvement: Support and implement system and tool enhancements (e.g., HighRadius, TriumphPay, ERP).
  • Process & Performance Improvement: Drive a culture of accountability, continuous improvement, and operational efficiency.
  • Process & Performance Improvement: Ensure the team's structure and capacity align with growth and scalability goals.
  • Stakeholder Collaboration: Collaborate cross-functionally with Corporate Finance, Sales, Customer Support, and IT to resolve escalations and optimize end-to-end processes.
  • Stakeholder Collaboration: Maintain strong communication with internal and external stakeholders to ensure issues are addressed and service expectations are met.
  • Compliance & Controls: Ensure adherence to company policies, SOX controls, and audit requirements.
  • Compliance & Controls: Maintain accurate documentation and participate in audit readiness and internal reviews.
Qualifications
  • Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, Business Administration, or related field.
  • 5+ years of experience in financial operations, with 2+ years in a supervisory or managerial role.
  • Strong understanding of transactional finance processes (AR, AP, disputes, audits).
  • Experience using ERP systems (Oracle, SAP) and financial automation tools (HighRadius, TriumphPay).
  • Knowledge of GAAP and SOX controls.
  • Proven ability to lead teams, manage change, and drive results in a fast-paced environment.
  • Bilingual in English and Spanish strongly preferred.
Preferred Qualifications
  • Experience in transportation, logistics, or 3PL industry.
  • Familiarity with Salesforce, EIPP platforms, or freight payment systems.
  • Continuous improvement or Lean Six Sigma training/certification a plus.
