A global fashion company is seeking a Logistics Manager based in Mexico City. This role involves developing logistics strategies, managing supply chain operations, and ensuring compliance with industry regulations. The ideal candidate has a degree in Supply Chain Management, proven logistics experience, and strong leadership skills. This position is hybrid-based, requiring frequent visits to warehouses and occasional supplier meetings.

Formación

  • Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain Management, Logistics, Business Administration, or a related field.
  • Proven experience as a Logistics Manager or in a similar logistics role.
  • Strong understanding of logistics and supply chain management principles.
  • Proficiency in logistics software and tools.
  • Excellent organizational, problem-solving, and decision-making skills.
  • Ability to manage multiple tasks and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
  • Strong communication and negotiation skills.
  • Leadership and team management experience.
  • Knowledge of regulatory and compliance requirements in the logistics industry.
  • Analytical mindset with strong attention to detail.

Key Responsibilities
  • Develop and implement logistics strategies to ensure efficient and cost-effective delivery processes.
  • Manage and monitor supply chain operations, including transportation, customs, warehousing, and distribution.
  • Coordinate with suppliers, manufacturers, and clients to ensure smooth inbound and outbound logistics.
  • Oversee inventory management, ensuring stock levels are accurate and goods are stored correctly.
  • Analyze and optimize logistical processes, identifying areas for improvement and cost savings.
  • Manage relationships with logistics providers, carriers, and third-party service providers.
  • Ensure compliance with industry regulations, safety standards, and company policies.
  • Prepare and manage budgets, track expenses, and ensure cost control across logistics operations.
  • Lead and mentor a team of logistics professionals (3PL), providing training and guidance.
  • Utilize logistics software to monitor, track, and report on the flow of goods.
  • Resolve any issues related to transportation, shipping delays, or inventory discrepancies.
  • Prepare and present logistics performance reports to senior management.
Qualifications
  • Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain Management, Logistics, Business Administration, or a related field.
  • Proven experience as a Logistics Manager or in a similar logistics role.
  • Strong understanding of logistics and supply chain management principles.
  • Proficiency in logistics software and tools (e.g., SAP, WMS, TMS).
  • Excellent organizational, problem-solving, and decision-making skills.
  • Ability to manage multiple tasks and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment.

  • Knowledge of regulatory and compliance requirements in the logistics industry.
