A leading logistics company in Mérida is seeking an operational role focused on managing courier dispatch, monitoring delivery routes, and handling customer inquiries. Formación

  • Minimum of eighteen months as Courier or Service Agent within FEC.
  • Must have a valid driver's license and good driving record.

Responsabilidades

  • Dispatches couriers for pickups and deliveries ensuring maximum efficiencies.
  • Monitors and evaluates route loads to ensure balance of workload.
  • Handles all customer incoming calls on pickup/delivery matters.

Descripción del empleo

Involves the completion of administrative tasks and coordination relating to the front-line operation which may include data entry, ramp activities, sort activities, trace activities, despatch activities and local customer service. While operational tasks may be part of these roles, the majority of time is spent on office-based activities.

General Job Description
  • Dispatches couriers for pickups and deliveries ensuring maximum efficiencies and effectiveness in service.
  • Monitors and evaluates route loads to ensure balance of workload, flexibility of workforce, reassignments, and to provide coverage in the event of breakdowns.
  • Organizes pick-up/delivery requests for customers according to location and reroutes couriers when necessary.
  • Handles all customer incoming calls on all pickup/delivery related matters.
  • Communicates with station personnel or customers as to estimated time of arrival and other related questions or concerns.
  • Remains knowledgeable on city geography and traffic flow so that directions to customer locations can be provided as needed.
  • Maintains Station Ops. Manager updated regarding pertinent workforce and service conditions; provides service reliability and/or fleet adjustments.
  • May be required to perform other duties as assigned.
Minimum Requirements

Minimum Education:

  • Bachelor degree/Equivalent
  • Proficiency in English (450 TOEIC points).
Minimum Experience
  • A minimum of eighteen (18) months as Courier or Service Agent within FEC.
Minimum Required Skills
  • Knowledge of city geography and traffic flow.
  • Knowledge of FEC features of service.
  • Must have a Valid Drivers License and good driving record.
  • Good communications skills written and verbal.
  • Ability to lift 70 lbs and to maneuver any package weighing up to 150 lbs with appropriate equipment.
  • Basic English Skills.
