Job Description – Leisure Sales Associate

Location: Mexico City, Mexico

Reports to: Director of Sales & Marketing

Job Summary

The Leisure Sales Executive is responsible for proactively generating and managing leisure sales opportunities with a strong focus on the Mexican and U.S. markets. This role develops and maintains relationships with key leisure travel partners, including luxury travel consortia, tour operators, and travel agencies. The position represents Paradero Hotels at trade shows, events, and consortia programs to drive awareness and revenue growth, ensuring seamless alignment with the brand’s values of authenticity, sustainability, and excellence in hospitality.

Key Responsibilities
Sales & Business Development
  • Proactively solicit new leisure business from the national and U.S. markets.
  • Manage relationships with consortia (Virtuoso, LHW, Signature, etc.) and high‑end leisure partners.
  • Represent Paradero Hotels at industry trade shows, workshops, and events.
  • Develop tailored sales strategies to increase market share and revenue.
Account & Relationship Management
  • Strengthen existing client relationships through regular sales calls and presentations.
  • Ensure accurate, timely communication and turnover of accounts to operations.
  • Act as the primary contact for key leisure accounts, providing ongoing support and solutions.
Market Knowledge & Reporting
  • Maintain strong knowledge of competitor landscape, luxury travel trends, and client needs.
  • Provide timely reporting on sales activities, performance, and opportunities to the Director of Sales & Marketing.
  • Track ROI from trade shows, sales trips, and consortia initiatives.
Brand Representation & Service
  • Represent Paradero Hotels in alignment with the brand voice and positioning as a leading luxury, eco‑conscious hospitality group.
  • Deliver exceptional service standards in every client interaction, supporting long‑term brand loyalty.
Candidate Profile
Education & Experience
  • Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Marketing, Tourism, or related field.
  • Minimum 2–3 years of experience in hotel sales or luxury leisure travel (preferably within Mexico/U.S. markets).
  • Proven experience managing consortia, leisure accounts, and participation in international trade shows.
Skills & Competencies
  • Strong network in the leisure/luxury travel market.
  • Excellent communication and presentation skills (bilingual: Spanish & English required).
  • Ability to travel nationally and internationally as needed.
  • Goal‑driven, proactive, and able to work independently while collaborating with the team.
