A leading manufacturing company in Tamaulipas is seeking a Lean 6 Sigma Black Belt to lead process improvements and manage projects utilizing Six Sigma and Lean methodologies. The ideal candidate will have a Bachelor’s Degree in Engineering or a related field, Six Sigma Black Belt certification, and advanced knowledge of Microsoft Office 365. This role focuses on identifying and controlling projects that drive cost savings and improves operational efficiency. Must be fluent in English and work onsite in Reynosa.

Formación

  • Bachelor’s Degree in Engineering or related field.
  • Knowledge Six Sigma Black Belt or Project Management.
  • Knowledge of Lean Manufacturing practices.
  • Intermediate knowledge in Microsoft Office 365.
  • English Advanced.

Responsabilidades

Job Summary:

The Lean 6 Sigma Black belt leads, manages, and supports projects related to process improvements using Lean, Six Sigma and project management methodologies to achieve business goals. Lead project teams to deliver complex business, integration, implementation projects, and continuous improvement/lean efforts.

Responsibilities:
  • Apply program and project management principles to manage scope, timeline, resources, and risk throughout the lifecycle of strategic initiatives.
  • Employ Six Sigma methodology & Lean initiatives to identify improvement opportunities, implement and control process improvements to meet business goals and objectives.
  • Identify improvement opportunities in the areas of Operational efficiency, Manufacturing Engineering, Quality, Supply Chain and others including supporting systems and tools.
  • Identify, lead, manage and control OIA Projects to drive cost savings throughout the Campus.
  • Develop detailed business cases, communicate and present monthly to senior leadership and stakeholders on the opportunities, recommendations, and implementation plan.
  • In addition to technical skills, the 6 Sigma Black Belt needs to demonstrate dedicated team leadership competencies.
Educational Requirements:
  • Bachelor’s Degree in Engineering or related to the field.
  • Knowledge Six Sigma Black Belt or Project Management.
  • Knowledge of Lean Manufacturing practices.
  • Intermediate knowledge in Microsoft Office 365.
  • English Advanced.

  • Describes the key objectives, phases, and deliverables of a current project.
  • Explains the concepts of phase, activity, task, and deliverable.
Six Sigma Methodology:
  • Analyzes business priorities for selecting potential critical metrics.
  • Uses tools (e.g., trend charts, Pareto charts, sigma conversion chart) to measure historical performance.
  • Researches important causes that have an impact on quality and customer satisfaction with the use of statistical tools.
  • Resolves routine problems in a cost‑effective manner.
Top Candidates also have:
  • Certification in 6 Sigma Black Belt.
  • Advanced knowledge in MS OFFICE 365.

  • Location: Reynosa, Tamaulipas Facility.
  • This position is five‑day a week in‑office model.
