BARK is a U.S.-based company on a simple mission: make dogs and their people happy. Since launching BarkBox in 2011, we’ve grown into THE Dog Company, delighting millions of pups and their humans with toys, treats, food, and health products.
Headquartered in New York City, BARK is a public company with teams across the U.S. and expanding globally. We use data to power everything—from personalized customer experiences to strategic business decisions—and we’re looking for a Lead Analytics Engineer to help elevate our Business Intelligence function as we continue to scale internationally.
This role will be employed through Deel, BARK’s global employment partner in Mexico. Deel provides compliant local payroll, benefits, and statutory employment protections—allowing you to work as a fully integrated member of BARK’s U.S.-based team while enjoying all protections under local labor law.
As a Lead Analytics Engineer in BARK’s central BI team, you’ll shape how data drives decisions across the company. This high-visibility, hands-on individual contributor role blends technical depth with analytical storytelling. You’ll develop scalable data models in dbt and Looker, define trustworthy metrics, and translate complex data into insights that influence company strategy.
A core focus will be building and maintaining BARK’s semantic layer—the foundation for consistent, governed, and AI-ready data. By designing transparent, high-quality models, you’ll help ensure our AI-powered analytics are built on trust and clarity.
This role reports into BARK’s central Business Intelligence leadership team based in the United States and focuses exclusively on internal analytics and data support functions. The position does not engage in any commercial transactions, contract negotiation, or customer-facing activities, and operates solely in support of internal BARK business functions.
This compensation range reflects BARK’s good-faith estimate as of the posting date and may be adjusted based on experience, skills, and internal equity. Compensation is paid in Mexican pesos through Deel and includes all statutory entitlements under Mexican labor law.
BARK is an equal-opportunity employer. We celebrate diversity and are committed to creating an inclusive environment for all employees. All employment decisions are made without regard to age, gender, race, religion, disability, sexual orientation, or any other protected characteristic under Mexican law.
By submitting your application, you consent to the processing of your personal data in accordance with Mexico’s Federal Law on the Protection of Personal Data Held by Private Parties (LFPDPPP). Your information will be used solely for recruitment and employment purposes in connection with BARK.
