A leading medical supplies company in Mexicali seeks a qualified candidate to manage data capture, support import/export processes, and ensure accurate invoicing. The role requires a bachelor's degree in foreign trade customs, at least 6 months of relevant experience, and proficiency in AS400 and Microsoft Office. Strong English language skills and the ability to work under pressure are critical for success in this dynamic environment.

Organization, pland and control

Responsibilities
  • Data capture and invoice generation in AS400, verification of shipping lists, review of information, and reporting of discrepancies when applicable.
  • Capture of orders in SAP for payment to the sterilizer, tracking of pending POs for shipment, and correction of discrepancies.
  • Assignment of consecutive order forms, sending of information, and follow‑up for timely updates of the STC and other related tools.
  • Capture of transmitted information to obtain COVE/DODA/PITA/BILL OF LAW import and export documents prior to dispatch.
  • Review of information required for the import and export of equipment, spare parts, and consumables in the various software programs used.
  • Support in the import and export process from the transport request to the delivery of materials to the plant or warehouse. Maintain the necessary records for monitoring and reporting the status of invoices in process and FDA clearances to internal and external clients.
  • Correctly process in‑bond shipments, calculate taxes, and monitor expiration dates.
  • Provide support in sterilizer operations, corrections, information submissions, and status confirmation.
  • Support internal and/or external foreign trade and customs audits.
  • Support reviewing invoices for payment to participants in the logistics chain.
  • Support customs clearances when necessary.
  • Provide support and information to the various positions within the company’s department, as well as actively participate in ongoing improvement projects and training.
  • Ensure effective communication of changes related to their responsibilities.
  • Timely notifications of situations requiring immediate action or follow‑up by management.
  • Constant communication with other department members and other areas that require their service.
  • Ensure a professional and cordial relationship with department members, the company, suppliers, and customers.
Qualifications
  • Bachelor's degree: Foreign trade customs
  • 6 months of experience on similar roles
  • Basic knowledge of tariff classification of medical products (preferably)
