A leading company in location data and technology seeks a General Ledger Accountant responsible for various accounting tasks, such as journal entries, payroll, and financial reporting. With at least a year of experience and a college degree in finance or accounting, the candidate will join a hybrid work arrangement, ensuring a blend of on-site and remote work. What's the role?

The Role

General Ledger Accounting:

This role is responsible for various accounting tasks, including:

• Journal entries: Recording daily, weekly, and monthly journal entries across different entities.
• Payroll: Supporting payroll activities to ensure accurate payments and compliance with internal controls. Collaborating with internal and external stakeholders for social security compliance.
• Taxes: Preparing workpapers for external fiscal consultants to ensure tax compliance.
• Financial Reporting: Preparing financial reports and supporting schedules.
• Statutory Audit: Preparing work papers and providing support for external and internal audits.

Who are you?

This position requires a college degree in accounting or finance, with at least 1 year of experience, preferably in a global company and across multiple time zones, fluent in English. Desired skills and knowledge include:

• Experience with accounting software and ERPs (such as PeopleSoft, SAP, etc.)
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, Outlook)
• Good communication skills, proactiveness, independence, and team spirit.
• Full-time employment

IMPORTANT:

• This role is based in Leon, Guanajuato, and follows a hybrid work arrangement: three days on-site at our Refugio Campestre office and two days remote. No exceptions to this arrangement.
