A global professional services firm in Querétaro is seeking an Inventory Manager to oversee and optimize inventory operations across data center facilities. The ideal candidate will manage the comprehensive inventory of IT hardware, develop inventory management systems, and ensure compliance with regulations. Requirements include a Bachelor's degree in supply chain management, 3+ years of experience, and strong analytical skills. Formación

  • 3+ years of inventory management experience, preferably in technology or data center environments.
  • Knowledge of IT hardware components and data center infrastructure.
  • APICS certification or similar supply chain credentials is preferred.

The Inventory Manager is a professional detail-oriented to oversee and optimize inventory operations across our data center facilities. This role is critical in ensuring seamless operations through accurate tracking, procurement, and management of IT hardware, infrastructure components, and facility supplies.

Qualifications
  • Bachelor’s degree in supply chain management, Business Administration, or related field
  • 3+ years of inventory management experience, preferably in technology or data center environments
  • Proficiency with inventory management software systems (ERP, WMS).
  • Strong analytical skills and experience with data analysis tools.
  • Knowledge of IT hardware components and data center infrastructure.
  • Excellent organizational and communication skills.
  • Experience with vendor management and procurement processes.
  • APICS certification or similar supply chain credentials.
  • Experience with RFID or barcode tracking systems.
  • Familiarity with ITIL framework and asset management best practices.
  • Previous experience in mission-critical facility operations.
Responsibilities
  • Manage comprehensive inventory of servers, networking equipment, storage devices, cables, power supplies, and data center infrastructure components.
  • Develop and maintain inventory management systems and procedures to ensure accurate real-time tracking.
  • Coordinate with procurement teams to forecast demand, establish reorder points, and manage vendor relationships.
  • Conduct regular physical audits and cycle counts to maintain inventory accuracy.
  • Oversee receiving, inspection, storage, and distribution of equipment and supplies.
  • Collaborate with data center operations, engineering, and facilities teams to understand inventory requirements.
  • Implement and optimize inventory control processes to minimize waste and reduce carrying costs.
  • Manage asset lifecycle from procurement through deployment to decommissioning.
  • Generate detailed reports on inventory levels, usage patterns, and cost analysis.
  • Ensure compliance with internal policies and external regulations regarding asset management.
