A multinational technology company in Veracruz is seeking a Human Resources Generalist to lead the HR strategy and support organizational goals. The ideal candidate will have proven experience in managing HR policies, change management, and workforce planning. Responsibilities include providing HR leadership, ensuring compliance with regulations, and acting as a trusted adviser to management. This role requires resilience under pressure and the ability to adapt quickly to changes in a matrix environment.

Human Resources Generalist, Xerox Mexico (XMEX)
Purpose :
  • Develop a robust and broad HR strategy to support the XMEX Technology business objectives and to ensure our competitive advantage within the market segments in which we compete.
  • Ensure the HR Strategy is delivered through partnership with HR Shared Services and HR Verticals.
  • Build the organizational capability and capacity to deliver the strategic business direction, developing and implementing the talent agenda for Xerox Mexico.
  • Provide HR leadership for the XMEX operation and act as the primary HR Business Partner to the XMEX leadership team.
  • Actively engage and work with Xerox management and partners and distributors to enhance their HR management processes and organizational capabilities.
  • Provide change management leadership in XMEX by deploying and using appropriate HR strategies.
  • Deploy effective and efficient human resource practices to improve XMEX's performance in both the short and long term.
  • Manage the HR in Xerox Technology Mexico to support the global organization and maximize synergies in an optimal cost environment.
The Role :

Represent XMEX as organization and actively participate / lead in any Legal and Labor requirement or any Social Security and Fiscal authority.

Work collaboratively with the Global HR verticals HR Operational teams to ensure the delivery of HR support to the XMEX organization.

Coordinate the implementation of services, policies, and programmes directly and through broader the broader HR community.

Act as key people adviser to the Region GM and the management team.

Lead and manage the overall provision of added value Human Resources services, policies, and programmes for the XMEX organization.

The role Reports directly to the Head of HR Brazil Corporate Manager, General Manager Xerox Mexico.

Main Responsibilities :
  • Works collaboratively in partnership with Senior Management to define workforce capability, costs & design to meet future business requirements.
  • Executes strategic workforce plans and delivers the full range of HR programmes to XMEX Managers to achieve business outcomes.
  • Serves as single point of contact to management and operates as a trusted business adviser by providing cross-functional HR advice, counsel, problem resolutions and bid management support.
  • Defines and maintains data analytic information to support workforce related decisions and monitor progress on key programmes.
  • Champions change and helps position the business unit for success by effective resource utilization, cultivating leaders, effective communicators, and empowered employees inside the business unit.
  • Champions new ideas and initiatives that foster and support creativity, innovation, and risk taking within the organization.
  • Continually collects information on the pulse of the organization; collects feedback formally and informally and addresses issues in a meaningful and constructive way.
  • Communicates and educates the HR community on the XMEX Business strategy and priorities to ensure an appropriate level business understanding.
  • Ensure that leaders are deploying workplace practices that are compliant with policy and legislative requirements.
  • Lead the integration and alignment of HR resources and management practice across Mexico to agreed HR Model.
  • Consolidate Xerox Mexico strategic workforce programmes to create a compliance country plan.
  • Manage and coordinate the deployment of the Corporate HR programmes within the country.
  • Maintain focus on the people management skills of line managers to ensure effective skills and practice.
  • Assume Board and statutory accountability for local matters such as Workers Council, Governance & Compliance and H&S managing any issues to resolution.
  • Act as the point of contact for all internal / external bodies and partners and represent Xerox externally with Clients.
  • Support Bids / acquisitions activity as required, including supporting C Level presentations, managing the commercial terms, employee transfers, negotiations, and other legal, labor and fiscal requirements.
