Role: Human Resource Specialist - Onboarding -
Hours: 9am - 5pm Eastern Standard Time
Hourly Wage: $6 - $10 (Open to negotiation based on experience)

Lago is seeking an enthusiastic HR Onboarding Specialist to enhance our onboarding process and provide a seamless experience for new employees. In this role, you will focus on integrating new hires into the company culture and ensuring they have all the necessary tools and resources to succeed from day one. You will be responsible for coordinating onboarding schedules, conducting orientation sessions, and facilitating necessary training. Your strong interpersonal skills will help you build meaningful relationships with new hires and support them throughout their onboarding journey, making sure they feel welcomed and well-prepared for their new roles. Responsibilities
  • Develop and implement effective onboarding programs that align with Lago’s culture and values.
  • Coordinate new hire documents, benefits enrollment, and orientation logistics.
  • Conduct orientation sessions to familiarize new employees with policies, procedures, and company culture.
  • Serve as a point of contact for new hires, answering questions and addressing concerns throughout the onboarding process.
  • Collaborate with other departments to ensure new hires have the necessary equipment and access.
  • Gather feedback from new hires to continuously improve the onboarding experience.
  • Maintain accurate records of onboarding activities and compliance requirements.
  • Previous experience in HR or onboarding in a fast-paced environment is preferred.
  • Experienced and proficient with the platform Deel
  • Strong organizational and project management skills.
  • Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills.Ability to adapt to changing priorities and work under pressure.
  • Familiarity with employment laws and regulations is a plus.
