As a Hispanic Markets and LATAM Vision Care Franchise BPA Manager , you will lead the BPA team supporting the LATAM Hispanic Markets commercial operations across reporting and planning activities, while also providing financial analysis, planning, reporting, and business partnering for the LATAM Vision Care Franchise to drive strategic decision-making and deliver actionable insights to leadership. This role is critical in establishing best-in-class planning and reporting practices, enhancing process efficiencies, and promoting financial discipline across the region.

In this role, a typical day will include :
CoE BPA Manager – Hispanic Markets
  • Define milestones, timelines, and deliverables to ensure successful completion of financial planning cycles, including month-end closing, forecasting, annual targets, and strategic plans.
  • Drive continuous improvement of BPA operations through standardization, automation, and process optimization.
  • Ensure disciplined use of financial systems (e.g., SAP, ASPIRE, APMR) to perform accurate, insightful analyses.
  • Ensure data integrity and ownership of financial reporting outputs.
  • Address operational challenges impacting finance operations, ensuring timely resolution and process stabilization.
  • Align priorities across regional and local levels to meet evolving business needs.
  • Lead the preparation of business reviews (Monthly Financial Reviews, Quarterly Business Reviews), including insights, variance analysis, storytelling, and recommendation framing.
  • Act as a trusted financial advisor to regional leadership, identifying potential risks and opportunities proactively.
  • Coach, mentor, and develop the BPA team, focusing on career progression, capability building, and resource optimization.
Vision Care Franchise BPA Manager – LATAM
  • Perform ad-hoc financial analyses and modeling to support business initiatives, new market entries, or strategic projects.
  • Coordinate the preparation and submission of franchise financial deliverables (P&L forecasts, budgets, variance explanations) in line with global timelines and requirements.
  • Drive collaboration and foster alignment across finance teams in different countries and at the regional level.
  • Support continuous technical learning and upskilling in financial systems and tools within the finance structure.
  • Consolidate and synthesize inputs to craft a consistent financial narrative for internal stakeholders.
  • Promote financial transparency, accuracy, and accountability to support informed, data-driven decision-making.
WHAT YOU’LL BRING TO ALCON
  • Bachelor’s degree in finance, Accounting, Business Administration, Economics, or related.
  • Minimum of 5+ years of professional experience in financial management, controlling, or business planning roles.
  • Fluency in Spanish and English, both oral and written
  • Strong financial acumen and business insight, with a proven ability to drive data-driven decision-making.
  • Advanced analytical thinking, problem-solving skills, and a continuous improvement in mindset.
  • Executive communication, strategic storytelling, and the ability to influence and partner with leadership.
  • Expertise in financial planning and analysis (FP&A) processes, including forecasting, budgeting, and reporting cycles.
  • Ownership and disciplined use of ERP and Business Intelligence systems (e.g., SAP, ASPIRE, APMR, Tableau, Power BI), ensuring data integrity and reporting accuracy.
  • Leadership experience in coaching, mentoring, and developing high-performing teams.
  • Strong collaboration, adaptability, negotiation, and change management skills in multicultural environments.
