Overview

Quality manager ensure that all Business Unit products comply with customer expectations, legal and safety standards. The Quality manager will be able to develop and implement action plans to improve quality control processes, to assure that all products are in accordance with the design specification. Also is responsible to analyze failing product, find root causes and implement corrective and preventive actions to avoid to produce defective products. Quality manager will lead the quality team in order to guide the team to identify not only material defectiveness but also to find any possible defect cause and prevent it. Monitor and evaluate our current production processes. Also is responsible to lead the efforts of the team to maintain the Quality System in place, and comply with all ISO Standards and audits. This position will report directly to the Business Unit Director of the area and will work at Nogales Sonora Plant.

Responsibilities
  • Improve and maintain our Quality System.
  • Participate in customer complaints, and ensure corrective actions are implemented and effective.
  • Identify opportunities to prevent future customer complaints and develop and implement action plans.
  • Analyze First Pass Yield data from production cells and create action plans based on this information.
  • Actively participate in internal and external audits of ISO and IAFT standards and maintain thorough knowledge of the norms.
  • Coach and train Quality personnel.
  • Lead and perform all activities inherent to the position to support quality objectives.
  • Support reporting to the Business Unit Director and work at the Nogales Sonora Plant.
