They will serve as a business partner, driving financial planning initiatives. Finance Manager - Mexico

As part of its strong development in LATAM, BVLGARI is seeking a Finance Manager with strong expertise in P&L management control and accounting for our local office in Mexico City, Mexico.

Reporting to the LATAM FP&A Director, with a dotted line to the Mexico Country Director, the Finance Manager will oversee daily and monthly financial monitoring, manage monthly and quarterly closings, and lead the preparation of budgets and forecasts.

The role will also involve driving financial planning initiatives and contributing to a variety of financial and cross-functional projects.

The Finance Manager will serve as a business partner for the local team providing critical financial oversight and support in a dynamic environment.

The incumbent will be the local finance point of contact for Mexico to implement and continuously improve financial Acumen, accuracy and drive efficiencies.

Key Responsibilities
Month / Quarter / Year End Close
  • Review P&L with Mexico Corporate Team to further understand drivers and partner with the teams to educate and help drive results.
  • Partner with the local and New York accounting teams to understand what entries are happening in each account to ensure entries are recorded properly and communicate reclassifications when needed or correct Budgeting process.
  • Create and continuously update Mexico P&L.
  • Provide detailed explanation of monthly variances to budget, latest forecast and last Year to leadership
  • Partner with the local corporate teams and reconcile the ledger to prepare any accruals needed.
  • Participate and support in quarterly inventory.
  • Publish Cancun and Artz monthly sales to landlords.
  • Reconcile Palacio de Hierro invoicing with our actual sales.
  • Establish, maintain, and improve internal financial controls and processes.
Budgeting and Forecasting
  • Partner with the corporate teams as they work through their A&P, Training, T&E, Ops, HR costs templates so that there is complete understanding of what is in their budget.
  • Local templates may need to be created to complete the above.
  • Provide Director of FP&A inputs needed for remaining account through adhoc analysis and working with local Accounting team (I.E. Profit Sharing).
Strategic Planning & Development
  • Collaborate with senior leadership on long-term financial planning and business strategy.
  • Provide financial modeling to support strategic decision-making.
  • Oversee training and development programs to enhance financial acumen across departments.
Key Requirements
  • Bachelor's degree in Finance or Accounting.
  • Master's degree is preferred.
  • Minimum of 5 years of professional background.
  • Experience in retail / luxury environment is a plus.
  • Extensive experience in financial data manipulation and information systems, with advanced Excel skills.
  • Excellent communication skills, capable of presenting complex financial insights and strategic recommendations clearly.
  • Ability to seamlessly work with cross-functional teams and stakeholders.
  • Proven organizational abilities that enables the person to establish and achieve organizational goals.
  • Ability to multi-task is critical.
  • Ability to work under pressure and thrives in a fast-paced environment.
  • Ability to travel at times to Miami.
  • Foreign language skills : Bilingual (English / Spanish) required.
