Overview

The Facility Buyer is responsible for managing the procurement of goods and services specifically for the organization's facilities. This role ensures efficient procurement processes, cost-effective purchasing, and strong vendor relationships, while maintaining compliance with company policies and standards

Job Objectives
  • Streamline the procurement process for facility-related goods and services. Achieve cost savings through effective negotiation and strategic sourcing.
  • Ensure timely and accurate procurement to support facility operations.
  • Maintain accurate records and documentation for all facility purchases.
  • Foster strong relationships with vendors and suppliers.
  • Ensure compliance with company policies and regulatory requirements.
Main Responsibilities
  • Supplier Management
    • Identify and evaluate suppliers for facility-related goods and services.
    • Negotiate contracts, terms, and pricing with vendors to secure the best deals.
    • Foster strong relationships with vendors and suppliers.
  • Procurement Processes
    • Process purchase orders and ensure timely delivery of goods and services.
    • Collaborate with facility managers to understand and meet their procurement needs.
    • Monitor and manage inventory levels to prevent shortages and overstocking.
Qualifications

Education and Experience:

  • Bachelor’s degree in business administration, supply chain management, or related field.
  • Previous experience in procurement, preferably in facility management context.
