Job Description

In this role, you will be responsible for the maintenance and upkeep of buildings and their facilities to ensure the optimal supply of services such as electricity, compressed air, water, air conditioning, cleaning, building upkeep, and the execution of projects and new facilities, optimizing and avoiding unnecessary interruptions.

Responsibilities:

• Supervise staff in carrying out daily maintenance activities, ensuring safety and resource optimization.
• Review, approve, and requisition materials and spare parts vital for specific jobs.
• Follow all applicable Mexican standards related to safety, construction, equipment, electricity, etc.
• Conduct daily plant inspections to assess working conditions, including building condition, cleanliness, ongoing work, machinery, and safety.
• Prepare and review work schedules aligned with safety, hygiene, environmental, and maintenance policies.
• Implement, execute, and monitor preventive and corrective maintenance of all facility equipment.
• Ensure compliance with insurance requirements to minimize risks and costs.
• Supervise contractor activities for maintenance, construction, and expansion projects.

Candidate Profile:

I am a motivated professional with a strong work ethic, excellent communication skills, and effective teamwork experience, capable of leading facility maintenance in a manufacturing environment.

Requirements:

• B.A. or equivalent in Mechanical, Electromechanical, or Industrial Engineering.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, capable of managing multiple projects.
• Excellent communication skills in English and Spanish.
• Knowledge of permits, registrations, and licenses from authorities like STPS, SPA, SEMARNAT.
• Experience in personnel management, crisis response, budget management, and project coordination.

Preferred Qualifications:

• Deep knowledge of industrial safety standards, hazardous waste management, and environmental protection.
• Experience in emergency response planning.
• Knowledge of mechanics, electronics, and automation.
• Proficiency in Office, AutoCAD, and data analysis tools.
• Problem-solving skills related to maintenance challenges.
• Continuous learning attitude regarding industry trends.
