A US-based furniture retailer is seeking an experienced Accounts Payable professional in Guadalajara, Jalisco, México. The role includes daily reconciliations, managing vendor bills, and preparing sales tax reports. Candidates must have at least 2 years of accounts payable experience, fluency in English, and strong attention to detail. This position offers a flexible work schedule, a starting pay of $6/hour, paid vacation, and a training bonus after 90 days. Remote work experience is a plus.

Formación

Local Furniture Outlet is a US-based furniture retailer with a focus on e-commerce.

We are seeking one qualified accounts payable with expertise in bank reconciliations, accounts receivable, accounts payable, and general office management.

We need someone who is fluent in English, has experience with US accounting standards and is extremely detail-oriented.

Tasks
  • Daily Reconciliations
  • Weekly Reconciliations
  • Monthly Reconciliations
  • Categorize Expenses
  • Verify Invoices for Accuracy
  • Receiving
  • Create Vendor Bills
  • Processing Claims
  • Prepare Sales Tax Reports Monthly, Quarterly, and Yearly
  • Weekly Payroll
  • Establish Best Practices to Improve Overall Business Performance
  • Plus any additional tasks required by management
Qualifications
  • Be available to work an 8 hour shift between the hours of 6 AM - 8 PM US CST
  • 2 Years of Accounts Payable Experience
  • Google Drive (Sheets)

  • Be available During US CST Time Zone

Timeline of Expectations
  1. 30 Days:
    • Receive Orders
    • Create Vendor Bills
    • Verify Invoices

    • Reconcile Bank Statements
    • Have a Full Understanding of All General Processes
