A leading global coatings company in Nuevo León is seeking an experienced EHS Coordinator to implement safety, hygiene, and environmental controls. The ideal candidate has a Bachelor's degree and at least 3 years of experience in EHS within the automotive sector. Responsibilities include attending audits, coordinating safety activities, and ensuring compliance with regulations. A competitive salary and benefits will be discussed during the hiring process.
As a EHS Coordinator, you will implement the necessary prevention and control measures regarding safety, hygiene, and industrial environmental management to ensure working conditions for the personnel and the facilities themselves. Ensure the correct implementation and monitoring of corporate-level regulations and procedures in the plant. Comply with all requirements from government agencies and certification bodies applicable to EHS.
You will report to EHS Manager.
Attend audits from the STPS, IATF, clients, and corporate related to the EHS area.
Coordinate all activities in the Safety and Hygiene area, such as floor reviews, inspections.
Coordinate the team to conduct incident and accident investigations.
Coordinate the activities of the brigades, the safety and hygiene committee, and our EHS team, and any drills that may be required to Ensure the understanding, implementation, monitoring, and traceability of the procedures implemented by corporate.
Attend audits of the QMS related to IATF-16949 certification, and customer-related audits
Coordinate and ensure compliance with goals in Environment, Health, and Safety.
Train personnel in applicable safety and hygiene matters and, if not possible, ensure training within their scope.
Comply with all legal requirements related to health, safety, and the environment- Implement.
Coordinate occupational health programs together with the medical service.
Implement improvement programs established by corporate
Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Industrial Engineer, or a related field.
At least 3 years in a similar position in EHS areas.
Experience in the automotive manufacturing industry.
EHS and ISO regulations.
Willingness to travel
Fluent English.
