A global leader in supply chain food safety is seeking a LATAM Director for Food Service in Querétaro. You will be responsible for driving the food service division's strategy, leading a high-performance team, and ensuring exceptional customer service. The ideal candidate has strong leadership skills, extensive experience in the food service sector, and the ability to manage P&L. Fluent English is required, and knowledge of Spanish and Portuguese is a plus. This full-time position offers the opportunity to shape the future of food safety in the LATAM region.

The LATAM Director for Food Service will be responsible for collaborating with both global business unit leaders and regional business leaders across the Food Service Division to enable executing the business strategy across the region. The Director will develop and manage a high-performance team to rapidly expand the global Food Service division (Food Retail, Food Equipment, Food Advisory & Training) businesses for the foodservice and food production sector, while delivering impeccable integrity, profitability and high levels of customer satisfaction. Develop and implement a strong strategic plan to maintain and enhance NSF’s position as a global leader in supply chain food safety services. Work collaboratively as part of the LATAM Food Division’s leadership team to ensure service offerings are integrated globally across all industry sectors.

LATAM Food Service P&L Accountability

Responsibilities

Demonstrated effective experience leading a regional program or operation; demonstrated ability to build strong customer relationships

Understand customer needs and deliver customer centric solutions aligned with the mission and goals.

Demonstrated experience in managing P&L including allocating resources and managing expenses to achieve or exceed revenue and profit targets.

Demonstrated ability to build and lead teams including selecting and developing talent, building trust, coaching team members and managing performance resulting in high performing teams. Demonstrated experience leading and developing other leaders.

Ensure that we have a service offer that meets the LATAM customer expectations: Input into the Divisional strategic plan for food service to ensure it meets local requirements. Implement global NSF programs successfully in LATAM according to an agreed schedule. Develop local NSF programs in line with the global strategy and mission, but that meet the specific needs of LATAM customers.

Demonstrated business acumen, including ability to build relationships, interpret financial indicators, adopt innovative ideas and apply knowledge of the business to advance organizations goals

Demonstrated ability to develop and deliver organizational messages using various communication modes for transparency and clarity of messages with teams in a consistent and timely manner

Must actively model all NSF core values and possess high ethical standards. Proven leadership skills to create a high performing team. Collaborative with a global mindset, engages with stakeholders across programs and geographies to achieve business results. Experience developing and implementing strategy

High proficiency in spoken and written English; Spanish and Portuguese (desirable)

Qualifications

Select, train, develop, motivate, and maintain a competent team to oversee the delivery of auditing, training and consulting services, operations, Technical & Quality, and customer service for the Food Service division.

Integrate the delivery of global audit service, operations and technical & quality into a cohesive team working across the LATAM Food Service Division.

Provide leadership in the delivery of auditing and other services to support Food Service customers and ensure high levels of customer service and profitability

Develop, implement, and monitor annual operating plans and budget for Food Service programs, along with other necessary reports consistent with corporate & regional strategies and operating plans

Assure that Food Service operations meet all corporate and client service level agreements and requirements for quality assurance and control

Work with Sales & Marketing to develop clear strategies and support for regional and country-by-country program growth.

Support the Sales & Marketing initiatives through customer meetings, trade and professional organization participation, conferences and trade shows as assigned

Direct the implementation of new programs/clients, as well as modifications to existing programs, to meet both the present and future needs of clients

Represent NSF as an expert in Food Service programs at industry meetings, conferences and other related national and international meetings

Support other NSF programs on issues of food safety and food safety program development.

Provide guidance and support to subregional leads to ensure the delivery of work in an adequate, safe environment.

Support Audit Delivery team in accomplishing the growth of the field force along side the businesses needs.

Be accountable, together with AD Sr. Manager for AD kpis related to costs, efficiency, and quality of delivered work.
