A leading organization is seeking aDirector of Information Technology (CIO)with a proven track record indigital strategy, technological innovation, and leadership of high-performing teams.

This executive will define and execute the organization’s technology vision, driving digital transformation, cybersecurity, and the adoption of cutting-edge technologies to strengthen operational efficiency and competitiveness.

Key Responsibilities

• Define and implement thecorporate technology and digital strategyaligned with business objectives.
• Lead thetechnological transformationof the organization, incorporatingAI, automation, advanced analytics, and data managementtools.
• Oversee thetechnology infrastructure, digital platforms, applications, and cloud ecosystems(AWS, Azure, GCP).
• Ensurecybersecurity, business continuity, and compliancewith global frameworks (ISO 27001, ITIL, COBIT).
• Supervise thedevelopment and integration of web, mobile, and enterprise systems, ensuring efficiency and an excellent user experience.
• Evaluate and implementemerging technologiesthat drive innovation and value creation.
• Manage theIT budget, contracts, and vendor relationships, ensuring financial efficiency and technological alignment.
• Communicate effectively with senior leadership, presenting technology initiatives in a clear, strategic manner.

Requirements : Education

• Bachelor’s degree inSystems Engineering, Computer Science, Electronics, Telecommunications, or a related field.
• Postgraduate degree or MBA with specialization inIT Management, Digital Transformation, Innovation, or Business Administration(highly desirable).

Languages

• Full professional proficiency in English and Spanish(spoken and written).
• Ability to lead meetings, negotiate with international vendors, and prepare executive documentation in both languages.

Certifications (Preferred or Highly Valued)

• IT Governance & Service Management : ITIL, COBIT, or ISO / IEC 20000.
• Cybersecurity : CISSP, CISM, CEH, ISO 27001 Lead Implementer / Auditor.
• Project Management : PMP, PRINCE2, or Agile / Scrum Master certification.
• Cloud and Infrastructure : AWS Certified Solutions Architect, Microsoft Azure Administrator, or Google Cloud Professional.
• Data and Innovation : Certifications inArtificial Intelligence, Data Analytics, or Digital Strategy(e.g., Google, MIT, or equivalent).
