Purpose of Your Work
- Implement an adjacent product line sales strategy encompassing market segments and account objectives to strengthen existing relationships with industry leaders, customers, and capture new customers.
How You Make a Difference Everyday
- Play a key role in creating a Modern 4PL (MPL) brokerage sales plan for the Mexico Division, develop and contribute to key metrics, and execute the sales growth strategy for your direct reports within the overall Enterprise Sales team.
- Establish and consistently monitor sales objectives for the department, ensuring alignment with overall organizational strategy.
- Continuously develop and monitor departmental metrics/KPIs to ensure strong success.
- Manage sales staff within the department, including interviewing, training, career development, and performance reviews.
- Support our HR staff in sales talent acquisition.
- Work with our Enterprise Sales team to cross‑sell all Redwood services outside of the brokerage.
- Analyze historical data and industry trends to provide guidance to VP/Director - Strategic Sales.
You’ve Got This
- Bilingual proficiency in English and Spanish language required.
- Minimum 5 years sales experience in freight brokerage, 3PL Services or equivalent supply chain fields, with additional 3‑5 years management experience in supply chain.
- Demonstrated success managing a team of employees engaged in sales or business development activities at freight brokerage or similar environment.
- Strong transportation industry knowledge.
- Strong leadership skills; takes initiative and leads by example.
- Strong negotiation, analysis, and networking skills.
- Effective communicator with all levels of internal and external customers.
- Flexibility to quickly adapt to business needs and/or industry changes.
