Client Support Director, Business Service Center (BSC)

Title: Client Support Director – Business Service Center (BSC)

Overview: We are seeking a strategic and people–driven leader to oversee the Client Support Division within the Business Service Center. This key role directs critical areas including Cash Management Implementation & Post-Selling Services, Cash Management Support, Account Opening & Remediation, and Technical Support.

The Client Support Director ensures flawless execution of business initiatives while upholding internal controls, compliance standards, and institutional policies.

Key Responsibilities
  • Design, implement, and oversee the client‑centric post‑selling strategy, ensuring alignment with corporate guidelines and operational risk controls.
  • Lead the Onboarding Team for SMB clients within Retail Banking, driving continuous improvement and SLA compliance.
  • Manage operational teams responsible for account opening, cash management fulfillment, maintenance, and technical support, ensuring strict adherence to internal and regulatory standards.
  • Oversee Post‑Selling Services for Corporate, Institutional, and Commercial segments, identifying improvement opportunities and collaborating across departments to drive structural change.
  • Translate global strategic guidelines into local action and ensure alignment with BNS objectives.
  • Evaluate and ensure compliance with internal controls; identify opportunities for additional controls or continuous improvement.
  • Foster a high‑performance culture, promoting inclusion, talent development, succession planning, and team motivation.
Qualifications
  • Bachelor’s degree in administrative sciences or related field.
  • General knowledge of Cash Management, deposit products, and platforms such as ScotiaCIS, ScotiaPro, EIAP, Counselor, Legal Tools, EDDU, TEV, CPM, REM.
  • Strong communication, client support, and relationship‑building skills.
  • Results‑oriented, problem‑solving mindset and collaborative approach.
  • Ability to inspire teams and drive operational excellence.
  • Advanced English (spoken and written) is mandatory due to global coordination requirements.
