Here's what you need to know about this position:

THE WORK

• Lead, mentor, and grow a team of Analytics Engineers and Data Engineers.
• Design, oversee, and optimize data models, pipelines, and architecture for scalability and reliability.
• Build and maintain pipelines for batch and real-time ingestion (e.g., Kafka).
• Partner with Product, Analytics, and Engineering teams to deliver actionable and trustworthy data.
• Ensure data quality, governance, and accessibility across the business.
• Explore and implement advanced solutions, such as AI / ML pipelines or vector databases.
• Combine hands-on execution with strategic leadership, fostering a culture of learning and collaboration.

NEEDED EXPERTISE

• 7+ years in data / analytics engineering, with 2+ years in a lead or architect role.
• Strong skills in SQL, DBT, Python, and Snowflake.
• Proven experience designing scalable pipelines (batch and / or streaming).
• Expertise in data modeling and architecture best practices.
• Experience with AI / ML pipelines or real-time platforms (Kafka) is a plus.
• Strong problem‑solving skills, adaptability, curiosity to learn new technologies, and excellent communication and team leadership abilities.
• Must be willing to work on‑site in Mexico City.
