A global technology leader is seeking an experienced Credit Controller based in Mexico, Veracruz, Xico. As part of the Customer Billing and Cash Team, your responsibilities will include managing sales ledgers, collecting cash in line with contractual terms, and maintaining good customer relations. The ideal candidate should have over 5 years of experience as a Credit Controller, proficiency with collection software, and strong organizational skills. Job in a nutshell

As a Credit Controller in the Customer Billing and Cash Team, you will report to the RBU Credit Manager or Head of Credit Management.

You will manage sales ledgers, debt, DSO, and Overdue ratio for a defined area.

This team-based role requires strong organizational skills, customer focus, and daily interaction with internal and external customers.

What will you be doing

• Ensure cash is collected in line with customer contractual payment terms.
• Maintain DSO at an acceptable level.
• Reduce overdue debts.
• Collect receipts in line with monthly targets.
• Manage sales ledger.
• Chase debts.
• Perform sales ledger reconciliation.
• Conduct cash forecasting.
• Handle reporting.
• Perform general administration tasks.
• Manage own portfolio of customers.
• Maintain accurate and up-to-date notes within the Credit Management system.
• Action and escalate invoice queries in a timely manner.
• Maintain good customer relations while ensuring customer accounts are within agreed credit terms.
• Hold regular calls with account managers, CEPs, and Finance Controllers.
• Support other ad hoc duties as requested by the RBU Credit Manager.

Requirements

• 5+ years of experience as Credit Controller.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office Excel.
• Experience with collection software.
• Fluent English.
• Strong organizational skills.
• Ability to multitask on projects.
• Customer-facing experience.
