Formación

Job Purpose

The Continuous Improvement Supervisor will be responsible for driving operational excellence in warehouse operations, acting as a consultant and mentor to develop and maintain a culture of continuous improvement. The primary focus will be on reducing overtime and improving productivity, ensuring that operations align with the company's strategic objectives.

Key Responsibilities
  • Drive the reduction of Overtime (Double and Triple), achieving a Triple Overtime rate of less than 10% and a Double Overtime rate of less than 20%.
  • Implement consistent productivity improvements, achieving a 15% increase in key processes.
  • Collaborate with the operations and support team to reach the annual savings target for the accounts under their management.
  • Maintain 80% of operations in "gold" status in the Autonomous Operations Audit.
  • Improve Labor Share by 15% in the accounts under their management, using the previous year as a baseline.
  • Act as an advisor, providing consulting on Lean manufacturing and continuous improvement to operations managers and directors.
  • Challenge the status quo to identify improvement opportunities that reduce costs, increase gross profit, and enhance customer experience.
  • Facilitate the OMS Foundations and Supervisory Academy programs throughout the year.
  • Lead the plan to ensure that new operational starts are established with operational excellence standards.
  • Develop skills in the direct team through mentoring and coaching, promoting the implementation of the Operations Management System (OMS).
  • Identify opportunities and build robust and sustainable solutions in collaboration with the operational team and other areas.
Qualifications
  • Minimum of 3 years of experience in continuous improvement or supervisory roles in warehouse operations.
  • Knowledge of continuous improvement methodologies, Lean, and Lean manufacturing.
  • Leadership skills and the ability to teach and convey knowledge.
  • Intermediate to advanced level of English.
  • Willingness to travel.
  • Excellent communication skills and the ability to persuade different levels of leadership.
  • Ability to work in a team and foster a collaborative environment.
