WHAT DOES A COMMERCIAL LEAD (CONVENIENCE CHANNEL) DO?

The Commercial Lead (Convenience Channel) is responsible for developing and strengthening the commercial relationship with the channel's customers in order to achieve, in a profitable and joint manner, the goals related to the main commercial indicators: travel, billing and collections, within the assigned budget. To achieve this, they must develop the strategy and work plan that allows them to design and implement Joint Business Plans (JBP's) that satisfy customer needs, maximize resources and generate value for both the customers and Bacardi.

RESPONSIBILITIES - WITH OUR CONSUMER AT THE HEART YOUR KEY FOCUS WILL BE
  • Develop joint business plans to take both the commercial relationship and business indicators to the next level.
  • Develop an in-depth knowledge of the market, the customer and the competition.
  • Make data‑driven decisions, based on the evaluation of business indicators.
  • Make responsible and agile decisions to generate actions that have a positive impact on the business.
  • Generate insights and propose solutions through the analysis of sales information, margins, inventories, prices, competition, trends, etc.
  • Develop a sustained and sustainable strategy that allows the joint growth of the business in a profitable way, aligning the strategies of customers and Bacardi to ensure consumer preference for our brands.
  • Maximize sales opportunities to increase the participation of our brands within each of the assigned customers.
  • Guarantee the correct presence of our brands in the different points of sale of the assigned clients, as well as carry out the necessary activities that detonate their growth.

  • Promote the development of the personnel in charge (if applicable), training, motivating and creating the conditions for success.
  • Connect with other areas of the company, becoming a reference of collaboration within the commercial team.

  • Have a deep level of knowledge of your customer, brands, trends and market.
  • Have a high level of sense of urgency and accountability.
  • Have high level of analytical skills and a focus on results. Be able to read data from various databases: Nielsen, ISCAM, scantrack, commercial databases and client portals.
  • Have good communication skills to convey information to cross‑functional teams.
  • Adapt and exchange (reach agreement with): Customer Marketing, Finance (accounts receivable), Logistics.
  • High level of adaptation to change.
